Cookie Policy
Which cookies and similar browser storage Ozilai sets, what each one is for, and how you can control them.
Cookies in plain terms
A cookie is a tiny file that a website asks your browser to keep. When you come back, the browser hands it over again, which lets the site recognise your device. We use cookies for sign-in and interface preferences. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate visits and website performance without analytics cookies.
The cookies you may meet
The table lists every cookie this site sets itself, followed by the ones that outside providers may set when you use a feature of theirs.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__Secure-better-auth.session_token (named better-auth.session_token on a non-HTTPS connection) | This site, after you sign in | Keeps you signed in | Up to 7 days |
sidebar_state | This site, on the settings and admin pages | Remembers whether the side menu is open or collapsed | 7 days |
| Google sign-in cookies (only when Google sign-in is enabled) | Google, on its own domains | Needed by Google's one-tap and sign-in process | Set and managed by Google |
PARAGLIDE_LOCALE (when a language preference is saved) | This site | Remembers your language preference | Managed by the locale runtime; removable in browser settings |
| Checkout cookies | Stripe or PayPal, on their own domains | Completing your payment securely | Set and managed by the provider |
Session, sidebar and language cookies support account access and interface preferences. Google and payment providers may set their own cookies when their features are used. Payments are completed on provider-hosted pages. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate visit and performance statistics without setting analytics cookies.
Similar browser storage
Some settings live in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so they are never sent to our servers. Your light or dark display preference is kept there under the key theme. The email verification page also stores a short timestamp there so the "resend" button can enforce a cool-down. You can clear both from your browser settings.
Your consent
We do not use analytics cookies. Before introducing cookie-based analytics, we will update this policy and implement any required consent controls. You can manage existing cookies through your browser settings.
Which ones you can refuse
Strictly necessary cookies are the exception: turning them off will break features such as signing in. Everything else on the list is optional and only appears when the matching feature is active on this site.
Cookies from other companies
Payment and sign-in providers follow their own cookie rules. We suggest reading their privacy and cookie notices if you want the details.
Taking control in your browser
Every mainstream browser lets you look at stored cookies, delete them, or block them entirely in its settings. Be aware that blocking the necessary ones may stop you from signing in or using some features. Your browser's help pages explain the exact steps.
When this page changes
If the cookies we use change, or if the law requires different wording, we will revise this page and move the date shown at the top.
